Agreement to Terms #

By adding, inviting, or using Report Bot ("the Bot"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you may not use the Bot.

These Terms form a binding agreement between you ("User," "You") and Report Bot Project ("Report Bot," "We," "Us," "Our").

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Bot, and if your jurisdiction requires it, older.

Service Description #

Report Bot is a Discord bot that provides moderation and reporting tools within Discord servers ("Service").

The Bot operates within Discord and may include optional interactions via our website (reportbot.xyz). The Service is provided "AS IS", without guarantees of uptime, feature availability, or compatibility.

User Responsibilities & Conduct #

You are solely responsible for any data, reports, or content you submit, process, or store using Report Bot.

We do not actively monitor user-generated content but reserve the right to block, remove, or delete any content or users at our discretion, for any reason.

You agree that:

  • You will not use the Bot in any way that violates Discord’s Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, local or international laws, including but not limited to harassment, abuse, fraud, or exploitation.

  • You will not impersonate Report Bot, its developers, staff, or affiliates, or use the Bot to impersonate others.

  • You will not use the Bot to spread misinformation, spam, or cause harm to others or the Bot itself.

  • You will not attempt to damage, disrupt, or exploit the Bot, its code, its servers, or its reputation in any way, including by using automated tools, scripts, or exploits.

  • You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service does not violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights.

Report Bot staff reserve the right to take necessary action to protect the Service and its interests, including but not limited to restricting access, terminating usage, or reporting misconduct to Discord or appropriate authorities.

Data Usage & Privacy #

Report Bot may collect and store limited user data, such as:

  • Report logs

  • Messages flagged for moderation

  • Server configurations

  • Command usage logs

This data is necessary for the Service to function properly and may be processed on servers located in the United States.

Third-Party Services #

The Bot may interact with or link to third-party services (including Discord itself).

We do not control, endorse, or take responsibility for third-party services and are not liable for any harm caused by them, directly or indirectly.

Termination #

We reserve the right to suspend, block, restrict, or remove the Bot from any server, account, or user at any time, for any reason, without notice or liability, including violation of these Terms.

You may remove the Bot from your server at any time.

Termination does not entitle you to any refunds, damages, or compensation.

Disclaimer of Liability #

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Report Bot and its developers are not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages that may result from the use or inability to use the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, data loss, server disruptions, account actions, or any other negative impacts.

The Service is provided "AS IS" and AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

By using the Service, you acknowledge that you are solely responsible for how you use it, and that you understand that no guarantees are provided regarding uptime, accuracy, or reliability.

Compliance with Discord Terms #

Report Bot operates in accordance with Discord's Developer Terms of Service and API Guidelines.

Report Bot is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a representative of Discord Inc.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution #

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, excluding conflict of law principles.

If any dispute arises, you agree to attempt to resolve it informally by contacting us first at reportbotproject@gmail.com.

Severability #

If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest of the Terms will still apply.

Changes to Terms #

We may update these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be announced via our website or official Discord support channels.

Your continued use of the Bot after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
